NXT Fixtures Now Supported in Capture 2025

We are excited to announce that NXT fixtures are now officially integrated into Capture 2025, the latest release of one of the industry’s leading lighting visualisation and design platforms. This collaboration brings NXT devices into Capture’s ecosystem - opening up new possibilities for designers, programmers, and production teams.

What Is Capture?

With Capture 2025, the developers have focused on stability, performance improvements, and enhanced features—such as improved undo/redo behavior, better handling of unsaved changes, and new support for importing/exporting features like GDTF in MVR exports.

What the NXT × Capture Integration Means

By being integrated into Capture 2025, NXT fixtures now:

Become directly usable inside Capture’s library
Designers can patch NXT fixtures (e.g. NEXON, FLEXON models) inside Capture 2025 with correct metadata, optics, beam behavior, gobos, and effects.
Benefit from Capture’s enhanced visualisation features
With Capture’s new rendering improvements and stabilized features, NXT fixtures will appear more faithfully in preview scenes—boosting trust in the design-to-real output.
Support new export formats and exchange workflows
Capture 2025 allows choosing GDTF files when exporting MVR scenes, which aligns with open fixture standards.
